It all started with a home renovation, new furniture… and our cat Toby. Within weeks, the sofa was fur-covered, the designer stools were shredded, and the sound of scratching sent chills down our spines.
We tried it all, plush beds, scratch pads, fancy "cat solutions". Toby ignored every single one but, of course, claimed the box it came in. Cute? Yes. Stylish? Not so much! Soon our home looked less like a home and more like a recycling depot for rejected cat products.
That’s when it hit us: why not make something that actually works for both cats and humans? Sleek. Functional. Sustainable (non-negotiable). Something you’d actually want in your living room. No more ugly scratch pads, cardboard debris, or wasted cash, just one clean, modern design that cats actually love.
And there it was, the answer staring us in the face: the cardboard Toby couldn’t get enough of and the bathroom sink we regularly found him napping in.
Fast-forward twelve months and countless prototypes later, and here we are, basically PhD-qualified in cardboard engineering. Thanks to Toby, our chief product tester (and original shredder) what started as pure frustration became a solution we’re genuinely proud to share.
